This liferaft is a new development based on the latest findings for sea rescue equipment. These liferafts have been manufactured according to the international standard ISO 9650, part 1, type 1 (offshore), group A (inflatable at temperatures from -15°C to +65°C) and are certified by Germanischer Lloyd and the Italian Ministry of Transport according to Decree 232 of Oct. 2002. She meets the requirements of ISAF OSR 4.20.2 (d) for category 1 and 2 regattas (monohull and doublehull). The life raft consists of a three-chamber system: two inflation bodies lying one on top of the other and one inflation body that carries the weather protection roof. The maintenance interval is 3 years, since the island is vacuum-packed again in its outer packaging (bag or container).
